Description

  • Enjoy the spectacular Amalfi drive, the famous windy road with its breathtaking views , stopping here and there for the amazing views and photos to be had.
  • The journey starts with Minori, known as the “City of Taste” for its handmade pasta, liqueurs and pastry, You will get to take in Minori’s terraces, iconic architecture, vineyards and lemon trees.
  • The road then leads straight to Maiori, with its seaside boardwalk that lines the longest beach of the Amalfi Coast.
  • Accompanied by brilliant colors and the intense perfume of the lemon groves, our journey then takes us to Cetara, an ancient fishing village that lies in a deep, green valley flanked by vineyards and citrus groves.
Visitors come to Cetara to eat what is widely considered to be the best fish on the Amalfi Coast, including the town’s legendary Colatura di Alici, an anchovy syrup similar to the Ancient Roman “Garum”, and fresh tuna caught using traditional nets.
Cetara’s tuna is famous throughout the world and vast quantities are exported to Japan, where it is used in sushi dishes.
  • Continuing along the windy Amalfi Coast road with spectacular views at every turn, we arrive in Vietri Sul Mare, the southern most village of the Coast, just a short distance from Salerno.
Since Medieval times, Vietri sul Mare, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast, has been famous for its ceramics and still today the centro storico (historic centre) is packed with decorative tiled-front shops selling ceramic wares of every description, something you do not want to miss.
